SAMPIT, RAKYATKALTENG.COM – Ketua DPRD Kotawaringin Timur (Kotim), Rinie Anderson Gagah meminta agar jalan Walter Condrad utara segera diperbaiki. Itu setelah Rinie langsung turun tangan melakukan peninjauan terhadap sejumlah jalan permukiman di wilayah Kecamatan Baamang.
Salah satu akses jalan yang rusak parah dan harus mendapatkan perhatian pembangunan yakni jalan Walter Condrat Utara tersebut
“Saya turun langsung melakukan pengecekan di wilayah itu ternyata kondisinya sangat parah dan memprihatinkan. Ini sangat disayangkan sampai terjadi di daerah itu makanya saya tekankan kepada eksekutif untuk memprioritaskan perbaikan ruas jalan ini,”kata Rinie, Senin, 3 Oktober 2021.
Menurut Rinie ruas jalan itu tidak begitu panjang diperkirakan kurang dari 2 kilometer dari perempatan Walter Condrad-Hasan Mansyur.
“Menurutnya, anggaran untuk itupun tidak terlalu besar. Selama ini jalan itu ternyata memang luput dari perhatian padahal jalan itu sudah cukup lama dibanding jalan lainnya yang kini sudah beraspal.
“Ini memang harus diperhatikan dan dianggarkan supaya tidak ketimpangan untuk pembangunan jalan. Paling tidak setiap tahunnya ini harus dianggarkan. Tetapi semoga tahun 2022 ini jalan ini bisa diprogramkan untuk peningkatan sampai kepada pengaspalan seperti Jalan Cristopel Mihing, Kenan Sandan yang sudah jauh lebih baik,” tegas Rinie.
Politisi PDI Perjuangan ini menyebutkan ketika musim hujan seperti sekarang ini jalan itu terendam banjir. Pengendara yang melintas pun harus hati-hati karena di dalam genangan air banjir itu ada lubangan yang rawan membahayakan keselamatan pengguna jalan. (rk)
