PURUK CAHU, RAKYATKALTENG – PT Indo Muro Kencana (PT IMK) yang merupakan perusahaan swasta yang bergerak di sektor pertambangan emas di Kabupaten Murung Raya (Mura) ini secara terus menerus melakukan aksi sosial bagi masyarakat setempat.
Kali ini, PT IMK juga turut berpartisipasi mendukung program pemerintah dalam percepatan pemberian vaksin bagi masyarakat. Dengan bekerjasama kepada Komunitas Kill Covid, PT IMK telah melaksanakan pemberian vaksinasi tersebut sejak 21 Agustus 2021 lalu di SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Siang Selatan bagi masyarakat yang berada di wilayah binaan atau disebut dengan RING-1.
Manager CSR PT IMK, Budhi Bakti menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk kontribusi PT IMK dalam melakukan peningkatan herd immunity masyarakat dengan melibatkan Dinas Kesehatan Mura untuk menyalurkan vaksin jenis Sinovac.
“Per hari sebanyak 2.000 orang termasuk karyawan, kontraktor dan keluarga karyawan yang telah menerima program vaksinasi dari PT IMK ini, tentu apa yang kami lakukan ini sebagai upaya nyata dalam melakukan pencegahan dan penanganan di jajaran internal perusahaan termasuk penerapan protokol kesehatan,” ucapnya, Senin (6/9/2021).
“Kemudian pelaksanaan vaksinasi ini akan dilakukan kembali pada Selasa, 7 September 2021 dengan target penerima sebanyak 350 masyarakat sekitar. Dengan harapan adanya dukungan dan kerjasama yang selama ini dijalankan bersama Pemkab Mura dapat mempercepat terbentuknya kekebalan kelompok sebagai bentuk pencegahan dan perlindungan terhadap penularan Covid-19,” lanjut Budhi Bakti
Pandemi Covid – 19 saat ini masih terus menjadi konsen pemerintah, tentu dalam penanganan maupun pencegahan yang dilakukan secara maksimal memerlukan kerjasama yang baik dan juga keterlibatan berbagai pihak, termasuk pihak swasta. (Yon)
