SAMPIT – RAKYATKALTENG – Anggota Komisi I DPRD Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur (Kotim), Rimbun mendukung penuh langkah dari Wakil Bupati Kotim, Irawati untuk terus memerangi peredaran minuman keras (miras) tersebut. Bahkan dia menilai langkah yang sudah dilakukan ini mayoritas mendapatkan dukungan publik yang luar biasa.
“Jujur sejak adanya penertiban yang dipimpin Wabup ini saya melihat membawa dampak positif. Banyak masyarakat yang apresiasi dengan langkah dan keberanian dari wabup,”kata Rimbun kemarin, Senin (17/5/2021).
Selama ini, kata Rimbun masyarakat dan DPRD menginginkan langkah berani seperti wabup tersebut untuk menjawab keluhan dan keresahan masyarakat. Kehadiran wabup dipenertiban miras ini membuktikan sekaligus mematahkan bahwa asumsi selama ini pemerintah tidak berani berhadapan dengan pengusaha miras illegal.
“Banyak anggapan miring yang sudah dipatahkan dengan aksi wabup dan tim ini,”tegasnya.
Politikus PDI Perjuangan ini menyebutkan agar Wabup dan tim tidak perlu takut berhadapan dengan tindak tanduk oknum pengusaha miras itu yang kabarnya melakukan berbagai cara untuk menghalangi upaya penertiban itu.
“Jadi Wabup dan tim tidak perlu takut, saya yakin masyarakat baik itu tokoh agama, tokoh adat, tokoh pemuda dan DPRD ada di pihak yang sama dengan keputusan Wabup untuk menertibkan miras,”tegasnya.
Sebaliknya, kata Rimbun jika wabup dan tim tidak berkelanjutan melakukan penertiban maka akan menjadi tanda tanya masyarakat. ” Jangan hanya awal-awalnya gencar tapi memang harus berkelanjutan karena upaya pemberantasan miras ini memang harus dilakukan melalui.sinergitas, berklanjutan dan rutin,”ungkap dia
Diketahui, belakangan ini Wabup Kotim, Irawati gencar melakukan penertiban miras. Ada banyak pabrik pengolahan hingga warung penjual yang sudah disasarnya. Langkah yang dilakukan itu merupakan aspirasi masyarakat serta tokoh agama dan tokoh adat yang sudah bosan dengan peredaran miras di daerah itu karen tidak tersentuh aparat penegak hukum. (Red)
