SAMPIT, RAKYATKALTENG.COM – Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Kotawaringin Timur, M Kurniawan Anwar mengakui kerusakan jalan didalam perkotaan ini harus disikapi secara serius. Pemkab Kotim diminta segera melakukan perbaikan dan penanganan terhadal ruas jalan tersebut. Adapun ruas jalan yang rusak itu yakni jalan Kapten Mulyono, HM Arsyad, Pelita hingga SParman.
“Tanpa harus tahun 2021 itu diperbaiki karena ada anggaran untuk pemeliharaan. Jangan menunggu jalan itu rusak parah baru diperbaiki “kata Kurniawan, Jumat (9/7/2021)
Menurutnya, kerusakan ruas jalan tersebut karena beban kendaraan diatas kemampuan jalan. Seharusnya disitu perlu pengawasan agar tidaj melewato jalur dalam perkotaan dengan beban berat. Namun, disatu sisi itu terjadi karena jalan lingkar selatan masih rusak parah tidak bisa dilewati oleh kendaraan bermuatan.
“Persoalnnya sekarang jalan semakin rusak parah. Dan ini yang menjadi korban adalah masyarakat banyak yang setiap hari menggunakan ruas jalan yang rusak tersebut, “katanya.
Kerusakan ruas jalan itu dipicu oleh angkutan berat. Dimana trak CPO yang berlalu lalang bermuatan diatas 8 Ton dari Muatan Sumbu Terberat (MST). Sementara kapasitas jalan hanya mampu menyandang 8 ton. Trak CPO yang melintas itu menuju pelabuhan Bagendang Kecamatan Mentaya Hilir Utara. Disitu tempat bongkar muat produk dari usaha perkebunan kelapa sawit daerah ini.
Ruas jalan Sampit-Bagendang sebelumnya rusak parah. Namun ditangani secara konsorsium alhasil ruas jalan itu sudah baik karena klasifikasi jalan menggunalan rigid beton. Sedagkan kerusakan jalan yang terjadi saat ini mulai dari Bundaran KB sampai ke simpang empat Pelita.
Kemudian di jalan Pelita hingga Jalan Kapten Mulyono mengalami kerusakan. Jalan perlahan berubah menjadi bergelombang ada ada yang mulai belubang. Kondisi demikian rentan menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan lalulintas. (rk1)
