SAMPIT, RAKYATKALTENG – Dalam rangka menjaga ketahanan pangan di daerah, maka Bupati Kotim, H. Halikinnor mengajukan ke DPDR berupa Raperda Penyelenggaraan Ketahanan Pangan, Selasa (13/4/2021).
Raperda ini memiliki peran penting dan startegis untuk pencadangan pangan. Dia menyampaikan, negara berkewajiban mewujudkan ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan ketahanan pangan yang aman, bermutu dan seimbang untuk masyarakat hingga daerah.
Menurutnya pemerintah tidak hanya bertanggung jawab pada ketahanan pangan yang bersumber dari beras, tapi juga kebutuhan pangan lainnya hingga ke desa dengan cara selalu meningkatkan teknologi dan lainnya agar mampu memenuhi kebutuhan.
Menurutnya, jika ketersediaan pangan sulit ditemukan maka akan mempengaruhi harga dipasaran dan akan berdampak khususnya pada masyarakat miskin.
“Sehingga pemerintah harus membuat kebijakan agar terciptanya ketahanan pangan. Pengembangan ketahanan pangan kabupaten dan kota berdasarkan peraturan menteri mengamanatkan kabupatenn dan kota untuk menyediakan 100 ton beras. Yang mana berdasarkan tiga kriteria yakni jumlah penduduk, ketersediaan beras dan ketahanan pangan global,” tukasnya.
Dengan adanya perda itu nantinya untuk penyelenggaran ketahanan pangan berkelanjutan akan menjadi salah satu point penting di dalamnya.
Termasuk di situ akan memberikan rasa keadilan dan kepastian hukum bagi pemerintah, perangkat daerah, masyarakat dan para pihak lain yang berkaitan langsung maupun tidak langsung dalam penyelenggaraan cadangan pangan
Saat ini sudah diajukan ke DPRD untuk ditangggapi nantinya oleh masing-masing fraksi partai politik di lembaga tersebut.
“Kami harapkan usulan ini nantinya ditindaklanjuti oleh DPRD Kotim untuk ke tahapan selanjutnya demi terciptanya ketahanan pangan di Kotim,” tegasnya.(yon)
