PURUK CAHU, RAKYATKALTENG.COM – Orang Dengan Ganguan Jiwa atau biasa disingkat ODGJ di Kabupaten Murung Raya (Mura) setiap tahun mengalami meningkatan jumlah. Peningkatan tersebut berdasarkan data yang tercatat di Dinas Sosial (Dinsos) Kabupaten Mura.
Saat menyambut kunjungan Silaturahmi Wakil Bupati Mura, Rejikinoor pada Rabu (6/1), Kepala Dinsos Mura, Rusine menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya selalu mendata maupun menangani ODGJ yang berada di kabupaten Mura setiap tahun.
Terkait dengan jumlah ODGJ di Kabupaten Mura untuk tahun 2019, Rusine mengatakan ada sebanyak 317 orang yang ditangani, lalu untuk tahun 2020 terjadi penambahan dari Januari hingga Agustus sebanyak 41 orang.
“Sampai saat ini tercatat totalnya menjadi 358 ODGJ di Kabupaten Mura,” kata Rusine.
Rusine juga menambahkan dalam penanganan ODGJ sebenarnya bukan hanya tertuju pada Dinsos, tetapi juga bantuan penanganan dari dinas-dinas terkait seperti Satpol PP, aparat kepolisian, tenaga kesehatan. Karena tanpa bantuan pihak-pihak tersebut Dinsos akan tertatih menjalankan tugas.
Misalnya untuk pasien ODGJ yang agresif mungkin kami membutuhkan bantuan pihak keamanan dan juga kami membutuhkan petugas Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) dalam hal mengetahui kejiwaan ODGJ tersebut.
Tidak hanya itu, menurut Rusine juga pihaknya selalu merespon bila ada laporan warga yang merasa terganggu dengan keberadaan ODGJ disekitarnya, contohnya saat ada laporan ODGJ masuk ke rumah warga Jalan Veteran pada Jumat (1/1) malam lalu.
“Memang pada saat itu ada miskomunikasi dan ada anggapan keliru bahwa kami tidak merespon laporan warga. Faktanya pada saat malam adanya laporan petugas kami ada datang untuk membatu,” tambahnya.
Terakhir Rusine juga berharap agar dinas serta pihak terkait untuk bisa bekerjasama agar penanganan ODGJ bisa maksimal dilakukan di Kabupaten Murung Raya. (yon)
