PURUK CAHU, RAKYATKALTENG.COM – Dinilai sukses dalam melaksanakan program perpustkaan berbasis inklusi sosial tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Murung Raya, membuat Bupati Perdie M Yoseph menyabet penghargaan dari Perpusatakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia (Peprusnas RI).
Bupati alumnus STPDN angkatan 01 ini menerima bantuan berupa sepeda motor perpustakaan keliling, Pojok Baca Digital yang lengkap dengan Komputer dan Telivisi, Rak dan Buku serta buku perpustakaan desa.
Hal ini guna memaksimalkan program Murung Raya membaca melalui perpustakaan, agar masyarakat Murung Raya cerdas, sesuai dengan program Murung Raya Cerdas menuju Murung Raya Emas 2030.
“Pak Bupati baru menerima penghargaan dari Perpustakaan Nasional di Jakarta, ini bentuk apresiasi dari Perpusnas atas keberhasilan Bupati dalam melaksanakan program perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial pada tahun 2020 lalu,” ungkap Kepala Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Murung Raya, Yulianus, Selasa (22/6).
Menurut Yulianus, penghargaan ini berikan atas kegigihan dan keseriusan Bupati dalam mencerdaskan masyarakat melalui program Perpustakaan. “Implementasinya perpustakaan ini terus berkembang ke desa, sehingga melalui akses yang dekat membuat masyarakat rajin membaca memalui sarana yang ada di desa,” bebernya.
Selain itu juga, keberadaan perpustakaan keliling juga membantu untuk menjangkau agar masyarakat yang jauh dari fasilitas perpustakaan dapat membaca, sesuai dengan bahan buku bacaan yang disediakan. (yon)
