SAMPIT – RAKYATKALTENG – Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur (Kotim), Rinie Anderson mendukung pelaksanaan program Sampit Terang yang digaungkan pasangan Bupati Kotawaringin Timur Halikinnor. Dia menyebutkan seluruh perkantoran di Kotim saat ini pada malam hari terlihat lebih indah dan memberikan kesan lebih menarik, selain itu juga untuk daerah-daerah yang masih gelap hendaknya segera di realisasikan penerangannya.
“Saya melihat secara langsung Sampit ini gelap kalau malam, sehingga memang harus tambah penerangan,” kata Ketua DPRD Kotawaringin Timur, Rinie di Sampit, Rabu (17/3/2021).
Program Sampit Terang sudah digaungkan pasangan Halikinnor dan Irawati atau akrab disebut Harati, sejak mereka berkampanye menjelang pemilu kepala daerah 9 Desember 2020 lalu. Kini setelah dilantik pada 26 Februari lalu, keduanya berupaya mewujudkan program tersebut. Program Sampit Terang ditujukan agar seluruh kawasan permukiman, khususnya di Kota Sampit, terjangkau jaringan listrik. Selain itu, penerangan di jalan dan tempat-tempat strategis juga akan ditambah sehingga kota ini tidak gelap lagi. Untuk mewujudkan itu, bupati telah memerintahkan seluruh satuan organisasi perangkat daerah menambah lampu di kantor masing-masing agar menjadi lebih terang. Jalan-jalan yang gelap juga akan ditambah penerangannya agar kota ini semakin terang dan indah.
Rinie berharap Program Sampit Terang dijalankan dengan baik sehingga kota ini benar-benar terang dan indah sehingga memberi kenyamanan bagi warga dan meninggalkan kesan yang bagi tamu yang datang berkunjung. Terkait anggaran untuk penerangan, dia meyakinkan DPRD akan mendukung itu sesuai kebutuhan di lapangan. Setiap kantor pemerintah dan swasta juga diimbau untuk mendukung program ini karena dinilai akan membawa dampak positif.
“Harus ada tambahan penerangan untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak kita inginkan. Ini juga agar Sampit semakin cantik sehingga orang merasa senang dan nyaman setiap berkunjung ke sini,” tandas Rinie. (Yon)
