SAMPIT, RAKYATKALTENG.COM – Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur Kalimantan Tengah Muhammad Kurniawan Anwar meminta kerusakan Jalan Kenan Sandan segera diperbaiki agar tidak mengganggu aktivitas masyarakat.
“Jalan yang rusak akibat peralihan arus lalu lintas harus segera diperbaiki, contohnya Jalan Kenan Sandan. Setelah adanya peralihan arus lalu lintas, jalan yang dilalui itu sudah mulai terlihat rusak,” kata Kurniawan di Sampit, Selasa 21 September 2021
Pemerintah daerah sedang merenovasi dan meningkatkan gerbang di Jalan Tjilik Riwut. Berdasarkan perencanaan, kegiatan peningkatan gerbang yang diberi nama Gerbang Sahati itu menghabiskan dana sekitar Rp697 juta.
Peningkatan gerbang yang berada di depan Stadion 29 November itu membuat arus lalu lintas di jalan tersebut sempat ditutup total. Selama penutupan tersebut, arus lalu lintas dialihkan ke Jalan Kenan Sandan.
Dampaknya, Jalan Kenan Sandan kini rusak akibat banyak dilalui kendaraan, termasuk kendaraan besar seperti truk. Untuk itu Kurniawan meminta kerusakan tersebut segera diperbaiki setelah lalu lintas di Jalan Tjilik Riwut kembali dibuka.
Kurniawan mengatakan, Jalan Kenan Sandan hanya satu dari beberapa jalan yang rusak di dalam kota Sampit. Dia menyebut, diantaranya Jalan DI Pandjaitan depan Masjid At Taqwa sudah mengalami kerusakan yang parah.
Selain itu, Jalan Iskandar juga nyaris tidak pernah tersentuh perbaikan. Dia berharap harus menjadi perhatian khusus dari pemerintah daerah.”
“Menurut Kurniawan, sudah banyak masyarakat yang menyampaikan keluhan ini kepada pihaknya untuk diperjuangkan. Oleh sebab itu pihaknya meminta Dinas Pekerjaan Umum, Penataan Ruang, Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman sebagai ujung tombak harus segera merealisasikan perbaikan jalan.
“Bahkan dapat dilaksanakan secepatnya. Usahakan tahun ini juga. Apabila tidak segera ditangani, maka kerusakan jalan akan semakin parah,” harap Kurniawan.
Sementara itu Bupati Kotawaringin Timur mengatakan, terkait rusaknya Jalan Kenan Sandan akibat banyaknya kendaraan melintas selama Jalan Tjilik Riwut ditutup, hal itu konsekuensi yang memang terjadi saat ini karena jalan tersebut menjadi tumpuan kendaraan melintas.
Dia memastikan masalah tersebut dipastikan menjadi perhatian pemerintah daerah. Dia meminta masyarakat tidak risau. Jalan tersebut pasti diperbaiki, namun menyesuaikan kondisi kesiapan keuangan pemerintah daerah.
“Untuk Jalan Kenan Sandan yang rusak dampak pengalihan lalu lintas selama pekerjaan ini tentu akan kita perbaiki. Semua jalan dalam kota masuk dalam program kita, tapi tentu bertahap karena menyesuaikan kemampuan anggaran kita,” katanya (rk1)
