PURUK CAHU, RAKYATKALTENG.com – Tindakan kriminalitas masih terus terjadi di Kabupaten Murung Raya (Mura), khususnya di Kota Puruk Cahu terutama pada tindak pidana pencurian sepeda motor (Curanmor) yang belum lama ini masih menjadi keluhan di tengah masyarakat.
Menanggapi perihal tersebut, Wakil Ketua II DPRD Mura, Rahmanto Muhidin menilai disaat ekonomi sulit seperti saat ini tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa tindakan kriminal harus diantisipasi oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat agar tidak lalai.
Ia menyebutkan, untuk menekan angka kriminalitas perlu adanya sinergi Pemkab Mura untuk mengambil langkah preventif salah satunya dengan kembali menggalakkan dan mengaktifkan Sistem Keamanan Lingkungan (Siskamling) dalam satu RT.
“Tantangannya sendiri ada pada upaya membina keamanan lingkungan berasal dari unsur masyarakat langsung,” ujarnya, Jumat (4/6/2021).
Politisi PKB ini meyakinkan kalau hanya sekedar membangun pos kamling secara fisik dalam waktu singkat Pemkab Mura atau siapa saja mudah melakukannya, namun yang sulit adalah merawat dan memelihara sistem keamanan lingkungan itu sendiri.
Dia mengatakan jika keadaan ekonomi yang kian terpuruk seperti ini memang mendunia. Tidak hanya dirasakan di Mura. Tetapi untuk menghadapinya kedepan Kabupaten Mura bisa menekan dengan cara menggalakan ekonomi kerakyatan.
“Kemudian perlu pemikiran menghidupkan kembali potensi desa, guna menunjang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan ekonomi pedesaan atau ekonomi kerakyatan,” tandasnya.(ush)
